Terms & conditions
Last updated: [date — set at launch]
These terms are an agreement between you and Bayek Limited (“we”, “us” and “our”) for your use of PlanJolly. By using the app, you agree to them. PlanJolly is provided by Bayek Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.
Using PlanJolly
PlanJolly is a wedding-planning app. It helps you build a timeline of tasks around your date, plan with your partner, track a budget, and contact suppliers.
You need to be 18 or over to use it.
Your account
You sign in with a link we email you, so keep access to that email account secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
A wedding has two seats. If you invite a partner, they can see and edit your shared plan.
The guidance we provide
PlanJolly includes general guidance, including the “useful info” pages. This is for information only. It isn’t legal, financial or other professional advice, and it can’t cover every situation. Always check anything important – such as the legal requirements for marrying – with the relevant official source, like your register office.
Free trial and subscriptions
Each wedding gets a seven-day free trial with full access. No payment details are needed to start it.
After the trial, a subscription is needed to keep using the app. The plans and their prices are shown in the app. One subscription covers both seats on a wedding.
Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms. They renew automatically unless you cancel, which you do through your App Store or Google Play account. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies and your legal rights.
Using it properly
Please use PlanJolly for planning your own wedding, and lawfully. Don’t use it to send unlawful, harmful or abusive content, to misuse the supplier-email feature (for example to send spam), or to interfere with the app or other people’s use of it.
Your content
You keep ownership of the information you put into PlanJolly. You give us permission to store and process it so we can provide the service, as described in our Privacy & data policy.
Suppliers
PlanJolly lets you contact suppliers, but we’re not part of any arrangement you make with them, and we’re not responsible for their services. Any contract for a supplier’s services is between you and them.
Availability and changes
We work to keep PlanJolly available and to improve it over time, which means features may change. We may suspend or withdraw access where we need to, for example for maintenance or if these terms are breached.
Our responsibility to you
We provide PlanJolly with reasonable care, but “as is” – we can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit every plan.
We don’t exclude our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for losses that aren’t reasonably foreseeable, including losses arising from suppliers or from treating our guidance as professional advice.
Ending your use
You can stop using PlanJolly at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may end or suspend your access if you breach these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
